School Announcements
Spaghetti Dinner
There will be a spaghetti dinner held at WMS on Februrary 1st, from 5:30 to 8pm.  Tickets are $5 per person and all proceeds will help support the fifth grade trip to Nature's Classroom.  Click here for further information and a ticket order form.

Pennies for Patients

WMS will be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Soctiety’s (LLS) School & Youth Program, Pennies for Patients.  “Pennies for Patients” is a service learning program in which kids collect money to help people with blood cancer.  Our “Hero” for this fundraiser is a young boy named Christopher Poplawski.  He is a 3rd grade student at WMS, who was treated for leukemia and is currently in remission.  Our fundraiser will take place from January 30th through February 17th. We will be “selling” Pennies for Patients icons during lunchtime.  Students can purchase one icon for $1.00, put their name or the name of a family member on it and we will add it to the Honorary Wall of Pennies near Christopher’s picture.  Thank you in advance for joining us and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in funding lifesaving research to fight this disease.  Please visit the Pennies for Patients website for more information.

Can and Bottle Drive
The 5th grade will be collecting cans and bottles to raise money for their trip to Nature's Classroom.  On the first Wednesday of every month (1/2 day for students), empty cans and bottles can be dropped off at the loading dock behind WMS (just past parent pick up).  100% of the money will go to support the 5th grade's Nature's Classroom trip.  Thank you in advance for your support!

“Six Flags Read to Succeed” Reading Club

For the fourth consecutive year, Webster Middle School students will have the opportunity to participate in this reading incentive program. Children who read at least 6 hours of recreational reading will receive a ticket for free admission to Six Flags New England this summer, while family members will receive a discount! Reading logs have been distributed in all library classes. Completed reading logs should be submitted to Mrs. Marr, librarian by February 17th.  Happy reading!

Webster Middle School Library Circulation Statistics

Our average book circulation for the last 3 months is approximately 2,500 books!  Keep reading!

School Hours
School is in session from 8:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Students should not arrive at school before 7:50a.m.,as safety issues can arise due to the fact that there is no supervision until this time.
